Rabbi Yakov Tatz was born in Johannesburg in 1991. His family made aliya in 1993 to Israel where he spent 7 years. They moved to London in 1998 and have been here ever since. Rabbi Yakov studied in Jerusalem and received his Rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Yitzchak Berkovitz at the Jerusalem Kollel. He spent a few years teaching in various institutions in Jerusalem, taking a special interest in troubled youth. Rabbi Yakov and his Wife Eliana live in Welwyn Garden City with their four children.
