Whilst, thank G-d there have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our JLE community, we at JLE operate a welcoming environment to hundreds of people from all over the world.
As an organisation we put the health, safety and wellbeing of all those who come through our doors as our top priority. Our board, trustees, halachic authority and senior executive team, have unanimously agreed that it is the responsible and correct course of action for us to close the JLE building at this time. This will include classes, shiurim, all minyanim, social gatherings, and Shabbos hospitality (even in the educators’ own homes).
It is imperative that we maintain and continue the vital work of the JLE in the best possible manner, and not only survive – but thrive – in these challenging times.
Our scheduled programs will continue in new formats and on a range of platforms.
