Ingredients

Dough​: 

296 mL warm water (1 ¼ c)
93 grams sugar (½ c)
18 g dry yeast (4 ½ tsp) or 54g of fresh yeast
12 g vanilla sugar (1 tbsp)
2 eggs
170.25 grams unsalted very soft Butter OR you can use 118 ml (½ c) canola oil
750 grams strong bread flour (approximately 5 cups) (start with ½ add as needed)
3 grams salt (½ tsp)  
 

Chocolate Filling​:

200 grams Dutched cocoa (2 cups)
200 grams confectioners’ sugar (2 cups)
740 grams white sugar (4 cups) *110 grams instant choc pudding powder 
56 grams vanilla sugar (4 tbsp)  
60 ml (1/4 c) oil
120 ml ( ½ c)  boiling water to make the dry powder a spreadable filling. 
 

Crumble: 

185 grams confectioners’ sugar or granulated sugar (1 c) –
150 grams purpose flour (1c) –
12 grams vanilla sugar (1 tbsp) (optional) 
113 grams (6-8 tbsp) cold cubed (unsalted) butter or 88 ml oil (6 tbsp)
 

To prepare the dough:

1 large mixing bowl or a stand mixer with dough hook
1 mixing spoon 
Well fitted disposable gloves for kneading (optional but strongly recommended)
kitchen scale 
knife 
ziploc style quart size storage or freezer bags ziplock style
2-3 aluminium loaf pans for baking
parchment paper
extra flour to have on hand
rolling pin
spoon or spatula for spreading
